Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports as young as 14 years old. Along with BJJ as well, she was also trained in wrestling, boxing and kickboxing. In the age of 18 years old, Ladd had her debut as an amateur at WCFC. Ladd continued to build on her win during Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won 3 consecutive bouts. She knocked out all her opponents within the first round. Then she returned to WCFC and beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia dominated Aspen to defeat her in an unanimous decision. This put the mark of a loss on Aspen's records for amateur. Ladd rebounded from the loss and defeated Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-1. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to make her debut as a professional. Invicta Fc 11 was her first fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the fight in the first round via TKO. Invicta 16 also saw Aspen move into the Bantamweight division after winning her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen employed her skills in wrestling to knock out McGill by TKO in the third round (elbows & punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18, which was catchweight(138.1lb) since Ladd was unable to reach the weight limit. Aspen defeated Hoy and finished her in the second round by KO. Invicta FC21 was her last bout for the company. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks with a majority decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina by pounding and grounding her to the ground, gaining the TKO in second round. She continued her dominance and racked up an amazing victory in her subsequent fight against Tonya Evinger, who was fighting at UFC 229. Ladd beat Evinger by a punch in the opening round, she was awarded a Performance of the Night bonus. Her first fight of note came in her next fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Ladd's victory was a unanimous decision, and the Fight of the Night award came to the two fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak with just 16 seconds. Then she bounced back and defeated Yana Kunitskaya in the third round at UFC in ESPN 7. In her most recent fight with the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight. The fight ended in a unanimous verdict.
